The Sustain Abingdon Committee holds regular events each year. 

January – Randy Smith Seed Swap
Get seeds. Give seeds. Choose from fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs and native plants. Held at the Washington County Public Library. 

April – Earth Day
Come out and join us for our annual Earth Day Celebration at the Fields-Penn House (across from the Farmers Market).  Kid’s activities, food, fun and informational booths! 

October – Stream clean-up
Keep SWVA Beautiful, Upper TN River Roundtable and Sustain Abingdon need your help. Sign up to help these organizations clean up the local Wolf Creek Stream at the Muster Grounds. Let’s all work together to keep our community clean!

November  – America Recycles Day
This is a great time to clean out your clutter and recycle that “junk” that has been piling up. We offer free e-Waste, aluminum cans, cardboard recycling and secure document shredding.
